FAQ + Troubleshooting

When should I use Midnight Melt?

Use Midnight Melt every second night after your Skin Drink.

Can I use my face oil or balm with Midnight Melt?

You can use your face oil or balm on the alternate nights to when you are using your Midnight Melt.

If you would like to use your face oil or balm after applying Midnight Melt for some extra nourishment, we recommend waiting 5-10 minutes between applying your night treatment and then your face oil or balm.

What is the difference between Midnight Melt and Facial In A Jar?

Both Midnight Melt and our Facial In a Jar range are designed to exfoliate the skin as well as feed essential nutrients to help boost skin function.

However, Midnight Melt is a night treatment that is both a serum + mask, designed to be used on clean skin, as the final step in your routine at night and left on the skin while you rest. It has been formulated to gently exfoliate the skin overnight but also replenish hydration and aid the barrier repair of the skin. An easy and effective treatment, suitable for everyone, capable of doing the hard work when you don’t want to.

Our Facial In A Jar range is designed to be used on dry skin, before you cleanse (if you aren’t a wearer of heavy makeup) and removed after 5 minutes. Facial In A Jar products also include nutrients to target specific skin concerns e.g. Plumping Pumpkin targets uneven skin tone, signs of ageing, redness and congestion. Brightening Berry targets dehydration, irritation and inflammation. Purifying Pineapple targets congestion, dehydration, breakouts and acne.

Why can I sleep in Midnight Melt but not Facial In A Jar?

Our Facial In a Jar formulations need to be removed after a maximum of 5 minutes as they contain higher doses of alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) and have a lower pH level to help them penetrate the skin quickly.

Midnight Melt also contains both AHAs and enzymes but has a higher pH level that helps the product work as a slower release throughout the night, making it safe to sleep in. "

What do I do with my empty bottle? Can I refill this product?

You can hold onto the outer bottle of your Midnight Melt and reload it with one of our refill bottles. You can find instructions on how to reload in the video at the top of this page. As for your empty product bottle, pop it in the recycling bin. It's already made from recycled plastic but you can continue the cycle by recycling again.
